Just Eat continues to grow revenue and in-turn profit says Marcus Bullus trading director at MB Capital. The online takeaway delivery company stated pretax profit in 2016 more than doubled to GBP91.3 million from GBP34.6 million in 2015, as revenue grew to GBP375.7 million from GBP247.6 million. Revenue was boosted by a 42% increase in orders to 136.4 million from 96.2 million, as the number of active users rose to 17.6 million from 13.4 million.
After buying their nearest domestic competitor, Hungry House, Just Eat have strengthened their position in the UK market and continue to focus on expansion overseas. We believe their growth story is still in its early stages within the grand scheme of things and buying on any dips offers a great opportunity.
